Help Us Make a Difference

SEPTEMBER 1-19, 2024

For 25 years, Volunteer McKinney has been the heart of volunteerism in Collin County, empowering over 290 nonprofits across 27 impact areas. Your donation allows us to continue providing vital resources like free volunteer management software, training, and networking opportunities to strengthen these organizations.

This North Texas Giving Day, your contribution will go even further, thanks to a generous $5,000 matching donation from our founders, Pete and Nancy Huff. Every dollar you give is doubled, helping us reach our goal and continue our mission of connecting people to their passion through volunteerism and supporting Collin County nonprofits through education and collaboration.

Impact Stories from the Community:

Volunteerism is the heartbeat of McKinney and the surrounding Collin County area, and Volunteer McKinney is the pulse that keeps it thriving. Executive Director Allison Monroe and her dedicated Board have taken the phrase “We are better together” and elevated it, making it the cornerstone of their mission to train and connect passionate volunteers with the community’s most pressing needs. Thanks to Volunteer McKinney, I’ve found deeper fulfillment in my life, enriched by the opportunities they’ve provided and prepared me for throughout my time in McKinney. With VM’s expert training and focus on matching volunteers with roles that align with their strengths, I, like so many others, leave any VM training feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and ready to tackle the challenges of our community. We are truly fortunate to have Volunteer McKinney as a vital part of our town.

Working with Volunteer McKinney has been incredibly beneficial for CASA of Collin County. Their dedication to connecting people with meaningful volunteer opportunities is truly impressive.

Thanks to Volunteer McKinney, we’ve been able to reach a broader audience and connect with essential volunteer support, from medical professionals to patient advocates. Their resources, training, and connections have been invaluable to our mission at CommonGood Medical. It’s inspiring to see the impact they’re making in Collin County!
