Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is a national day of service.
Since 1998, Volunteer McKinney has brought our community together for Make a Difference Day—two days of hands-on service projects that support nonprofits across McKinney. Families, businesses, students, and community groups join forces to make Collin County stronger through acts of service.

Celebrating an Incredible Day of Service

This past October 24 and 25, our community came together in an incredible way!
Led by Volunteer McKinney, with support from the City of McKinney’s Department of Environmental Services and local partners, Make a Difference Day 2025 was a true community effort. From neighborhood cleanups and garden prep to organizing food pantries, assembling hygiene kits, and providing meals, volunteers across Collin County rolled up their sleeves to support the important work of our nonprofit partners.
