Denise Steller
AVP -Financial Center Manager – First United Bank
I’m a very passionate, highly motivated professional with 20+ years of experience in the Financial Industry. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to organize and participate in multiple financial literacy workshops, as well as coordinate many community events that serve the residents of the cities that I have lived in.
I was born and raised in Southern California, before moving to Chicago,
IL in the early 90’s. In 2015, my husband John of 20 years and I,
along with our son Cameron, moved to North Texas. Shortly after arriving to Texas, we moved to McKinney and fell in love with the community.
I was honored to serve on the boards of The Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation and The Channahon Community Events Council, while living in Illinois. Since moving to Texas, I’m an active member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, as well as a strong partner to the following non-for profits; Community Life Line Center of McKinney, Mission Reagan, Hope Clinic, Community Garden Kitchen, and McKinney Concert Series. I’m looking forward to the opportunities to serve with Volunteer McKinney.
I have been a part of Volunteer McKinney since 2018.
