Deanna Kuykendall
Deanna has been in government affairs for nearly 20 years. She spent nearly a decade as a congressional aid in the U.S. House of Representatives and four years as Chief of Staff for a member of the Texas House of Representatives. During her time as a partner in a consulting firm, she focused on small business and non-profit development and campaign management. Currently, she leads State Government Affairs, working with all 50 states, for a national association.
Deanna is actively serving on numerous boards and commissions including the Collin County Child Protective Services Board, Foster Friends Board of Directors, and the McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission. In addition to her previous time with Volunteer McKinney, Deanna has also served on the McKinney YMCA Board of Management and the Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney board.
Deanna is a graduate of Leadership McKinney, class of 2010. She and her husband, Chuck, have been residents of McKinney for 16 years
