SUMMIT ON YOUTH
Volunteer McKinney’s Summit on Youth is a day long learning opportunity that gives participants a platform to network with others who work directly with teens from at-risk environments and learn about the latest trends, hear heartfelt stories and share our passion for making life better for the youth of our community. There are CEUs offered for educators, social workers and LPC’s, as well as interaction with social service providers. Each attendee receives a copy of the latest McKinney Youth Resource Guide and the ABC’s of Children Research Booklet.
In addition, the Summit on Youth prides itself on a unique poetry contest from teens who have been impacted by poor decisions or difficult circumstances.
Volunteer McKinney’s Summit on Youth event takes place in the Early Spring.
